What if?

What if we started to boil all apples? I mean ALL the apples in the world. There's a good chance we would kill them all. At least most of them. Those poor apples...
What would happen next? We would have to eat other fruit, like oranges, grapes and bananas. Preferably cold. Colder than hot. Like the apples were. The apples were too hot, so they died. And we really don't want to make the same mistake with the oranges, the grapes or the bananas. They deserve to live.
The apples also deserved to live, I know some would say. And that's right. Unfortunately, they became victimis of our desire to boil them, to make them something they weren't. So they died. We killed them. We're gonna have to live with that.
And the other fruit, the oranges, the grapes, the bananas, are gonna fear us.
